Arsenal are reportedly targeting Diego Lugano and Joseph Yobo to plug their defensive holes.

Arsenal are reportedly considering a double swoop for free agents Joseph Yobo and Diego Lugano.

The Gunners are targeting the defensive duo to provide cover for Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny at the back, according to the Daily Mail.

Both players have Premier League experience, with Yobo formerly of Everton and Norwich City, and Lugano listing West Bromwich Albion among his former clubs.

Arsenal were left with just three senior defenders for their Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund, which they lost 2-0.
