Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger reveals that Aaron Ramsey has suffered a setback in his return from injury.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed that Aaron Ramsey has suffered a setback in his return from injury.

The Wales international was expected to return to first-team duties after a month-long absence for the 2-2 draw with Southampton tonight.

However, the Gunners boss reveals that the 22-year-old sustained a further injury in Monday's training session and insists he remains in the dark over the duration of the knock.

He told reporters: "He had a setback yesterday in training. I hope it's not for too long but certainly not for Sunday's game."

Ramsey has not featured for the North London outfit since the 3-1 win away to West Ham United on Boxing Day.
