Eurosport confirm a four-year deal to televise the NextGen Series, the premier youth football tournament in Europe.

Eurosport have announced that they have signed a four-year deal to televise a minimum of 18 live games per season from the NextGen Series.

The tournament is designed to showcase Europe's finest young football talent, and features 24 top teams from across the continent.

A host of top Premier League sides have entered this year's event, including Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa.

Julien Bergeaud, Eurosport's director of programmes, was delighted with the acquisition.

He said: "The NextGen Series is an exciting property added to our international youth football offering. We have broadcast the best FIFA and UEFA national team youth competitions for many years and now we have the best youth offer for clubs.

"We look forward to bringing the next generation of world-class footballers to our viewers in Europe."

The first confirmed live match will be on Thursday, September 13 when Tottenham play Barcelona.
