Mesut Ozil: 'FA Cup win would cap off a great season for Arsenal'

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil reveals that winning the FA Cup would cap off a great season for the club.

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has said that winning the FA Cup tomorrow would cap off a great season for the London club.

The Gunners finished the 2013-14 campaign in fourth spot, with Arsene Wenger's side now having the chance to end a nine-year trophy drought against Hull City at Wembley.

"We are in the final and we want to take this silverware now. I am convinced we will achieve that," said Ozil, according to BT Sport.

"We can win titles with this squad, this is very important for the fans as well because they have been waiting for so long. I am very proud of the team. We qualified for the Champions League and we are in the FA Cup final.

"If we can win the cup, then it will be a great season."

Ozil joined Arsenal for a club-record fee of £42.4m from Real Madrid last summer.
