Former Manchester United manager David Moyes backs Arsenal for FA Cup glory

Former Manchester United and Everton manager David Moyes picks Arsenal over Aston Villa to win the 2015 FA Cup.

Real Sociedad manager David Moyes has picked Arsenal to win this afternoon's FA Cup final at Wembley against Aston Villa.

The former Manchester United and Everton boss believes that the Gunners will win football's oldest knockout competition for a record 12th time.

"I think Arsenal will win today but I admire what Tim Sherwood has done with Aston Villa in the short time he has been there," Moyes told BBC Sport.

"You never know in a one-off but big players turn up for big games and I expect Arsenal's players to turn up today."

Moyes guided Sociedad to a mid-table finish in his first season in La Liga and admits that he would like to return to England one day.

When asked if he was planning on a Premier League return, Moyes added: "Not in the short term, but I want to be managing in FA Cup finals and winning Premier Leagues."
