Laura Trott takes London omnium win

Olympic champion Laura Trott rides to omnium victory in the opening round of the Revolution Series.

Wiggle Honda rider Laura Trott saw off the challenge of Marianne Vos to claim victory in the omnium at the opening round of the Revolution Series in London.

Trott dominated Olympic road race champion Vos from the start, winning six out of six races at the Lee Valley Velodrome.

The 22-year-old followed up this success with wins in the Australian pursuit and scratch race.

The next round of the Revolution Series takes place on November 22 at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester.
