West Indies captain Dwayne Bravo says that his team is disappointed not to have progressed to the semi-finals of the ICC Champions Trophy.

Dwayne Bravo has said that the West Indies are "disappointed" to have been knocked out of the ICC Champions Trophy.

The team needed a win against South Africa to reach the semi-finals, but tied the game under the Duckworth-Lewis method.

The side's captain told Sky Sports News: "Obviously we are disappointed and I must say I am disappointed with how the game ended, but I am not disappointed with what the umpires did.

"They had a job to do and they do it to the best of their abilities, and as players we have no control over the decisions they make. I think it would have been fair for both teams, the fans and tournament if that extra ball had been bowled or something like that.

"We were within striking range, I am disappointed the result did not go our way but my guys should be proud of themselves."

South Africa progress from the group due to a superior run-rate.
