Pakistan drop Nasir Jamshed for December T20s

Nasir Jamshed and Abdul Rehman are dropped by Pakistan's selectors for this month's Twenty20 internationals against Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.

Nasir Jamshed and Abdul Rehman have been dropped by Pakistan's selectors for this month's Twenty20 internationals against Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.

Abdul Razzaq and Shoaib Malik have also been omitted, but left-handed batsmen Sharjeel Khan and Haris Sohail have been included in the 14-man squad.

Khan is uncapped at international level, but Sohail has played one T20 and four one-day internationals for his country.

Pakistan's captaincy has been retained by Mohammad Hafeez.

Squad in full: Mohammad Hafeez, Ahmad Shehzad, Sharjeel Khan, Sohaib Maqsood, Umar Amin, Umar Akmal, Shahid Afridi, Zulfiqar Babar, Bilawal Bhatti, Junaid Khan, Sohail Tanvir, Anwar Ali, Saeed Ajmal, Haris Sohail.
