England beat India by six wickets in the second T20 international with a six from Eoin Morgan off the last ball.

Eoin Morgan hit a six off the last ball to give England victory in the second Twenty20 international against India.

England got an early breakthrough with the ball, dismissing Ajinkya Rahane for just three, but the pair of Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli got the hosts to 64-1 in no time.

Three quick wickets of Kohli, Yuvraj Singh and Gambhir reduced India to 88-2, but some powerful shots from the middle order, in particular Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni, helped them to a good total of 177.

England's response started well, with Michael Lumb and Alex Hales taking them to 80 before Lumb came down the wicket to Yuvraj and was stumped by Dhoni.

The runs slowed down as India took the wickets of Luke Wright and Hales, but Eoin Morgan and Jos Buttler, who hit a huge six down the ground off the penultimate over, led England to requiring nine from the last over.

Three singles came off the final over before another two from Buttler left England needing four from two balls, then a tense three off one.

It was to be Morgan's moment as he hit a massive six off the last delivery, straight down the ground and England won by six wickets.
