Alastair Cook praises the contribution that England's bowlers made against the West Indies yesterday.

Captain Alastair Cook has paid tribute to England's bowlers following his side's 114-run win over the West Indies yesterday evening.

A second one-day international century from Ian Bell set England on their way to victory at the Rose Bowl, before the likes of James Anderson, Graeme Swann, Stuart Broad and Steven Finn managed to contain the touring Windies.

"It's worked for us in the past," said Cook. "We've gone in with that tactic of trying to play to our strengths.

"It makes it very hard for the opposition to get away from us. It's bloody hard to do that against four genuinely quick bowlers and a world-class spinner.

"Everyone was saying at the beginning of the series how tough they're going to be as a one-day side - and they are. To win by 100 runs after losing the toss is really good from the lads."

England have two matches remaining against the Windies.
