Stuart Broad "very happy" with England win

Stuart Broad hails his batsmen for their performance during England's 25-run win against the West Indies on Wednesday.

England captain Stuart Broad has said that he is "very happy" with the way his batsmen performed against the West Indies in the third one-day international on Wednesday.

Joe Root scored 107 runs and Jos Buttler made 99, as the tourists posted 303-6 in their 50 overs in Antigua.

In reply, the home side were all out for 278 runs and lost the three-match series 2-1.

"I'm very happy with the way the batsmen played," Broad told Sky Sports News.

"To recover from five-down and for Rooty and Buttler to nearly get near hundreds - it won us the game.

"The wicket was the sort of you could bide your time on. Jos did that superbly. He looks unstoppable when he gets going like that."

This is England's first limited-overs series success since February 2013.
