James Anderson wants winning spirit in England camp

England bowler James Anderson says that he wants to see a winning spirit among the players during the Ashes series against Australia.

England bowler James Anderson has said that he wants to evoke a winning spirit in the team during the forthcoming Ashes series.

The series will get underway with the first Test in Brisbane on Thursday.

Anderson has said that the team will draw upon their experience of the last Ashes on Australian soil, which England won 3-1.

"The guys who have been here before, our job now is to try to pass that on to those who haven't played out here before – and try to make them as relaxed as possible going into that first Test," Anderson told the Lancashire Telegraph.

"We definitely try to remember the positive things, certainly here at the Gabba – and each ground we played at."

England have won the last three Ashes series against Australia.
