Anthony Ogogo maintains unbeaten record

British middleweight Anthony Ogogo maintains the unbeaten start to his professional career with a third-round stoppage of Jonel Tapia.

British middleweight Anthony Ogogo has recorded his sixth successive professional win with a stoppage victory over Jonel Tapia.

The 25-year-old, who was competing on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather's WBA and WBC welterweight clash with Marcos Maidana in Las Vegas, controlled the opening two rounds against his Puerto Rican opponent.

The finish came in the third when Ogogo landed a heavy right before unleashing a barrage of punches on Tapia that forced the referee to step in.

Earlier in the evening at the MGM Grand, Ashley Theoplane brushed aside Angino Perez in four rounds.
