Pau Gasol has said that the Los Angeles Lakers must improve their defense "drastically".
The team lost 120-118 to the Cleveland Cavaliers last night, leaving the side with just one win from their last 12 games.
The forward told reporters: "It wasn't like our energy and focus weren't there. We hung in there, but we couldn't pull it off.
"The defense needs to improve drastically, that's for sure. Whatever it takes to secure those boards, we need to be there."
The Lakers are in action again tonight against the Phoenix Suns.
