Indiana Pacers shooting guard Lance Stephenson is fined $5,000 for flopping during the Eastern Conference finals.

Lance Stephenson has been fined for flopping during the Indiana Pacers' second game in the Eastern Conference finals.

The shooting guard fell during the third quarter of Tuesday's game, despite barely making contact with LeBron James.

The NBA announced that Stephenson has been handed a $5,000 (£2,960) fine for the deliberate fall.

Flopping was brought in as a technical foul in the league last season.
