France win gold as Great Britain's 4x400m women's relay team have to settle for bronze in this afternoon's final at the European Championships in Zurich.

Led by Eilidh Child, the GB team finished just two-hundredths of a second behind Ukraine, with France claiming another gold on the final day of competition in Switzerland.

Both Ukraine and GB set season-best times, while France's 3:24.27 was the fastest in Europe this season.

France now lead the overall medal table with one more gold than Great Britain.
