New Philadelphia Eagles quarterbacks coach Bill Musgrave has heaped praise on Nick Foles, having linked up with the player during the team's off-season.

Foles has been an integral part of Chip Kelly's innovative offense in previous years, with Musgrave noting the QB's ability to visualise the play.

"We know he's a gifted athlete. He can throw the ball exactly where he wants to," said Musgrave, according to the NFL's official website.

"He can add air, add touch. He can add velocity and really drive it when it's needed.

"But to see the way that he can visualize formations, coverages, and process what he sees has been impressive."

The 25-year-old made his debut for the Eagles in 2012.
