Chip Kelly refuses to name starting quarterback

Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly refuses to confirm whether Michael Vick or Nick Foles will be his starting quarterback against the Dallas Cowboys.

Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly has remained tight-lipped on who will be his starting quarterback against the Dallas Cowboys next week.

Michael Vick has been the number one choice for Kelly for much of the season, but injury forced him out of yesterday's match against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Replacement quarterback Nick Foles impressed in Vick's absence, throwing for three touchdowns and running for another to help his side to a 31-20 victory.

Last week Kelly categorically stated that Vick would start Sunday's match if he was fully fit but, when asked the same question following yesterday's victory, the 49-year-old was non-committal.

"We'll evaluate everything. We'll see where we are, see where Mike is. I don't deal in hypotheticals, and I don't make any predictions. Let's see where [Vick] is," Kelly told reporters.

"Our offense doesn't change whether Mike is in there or Nick's in there. Nick executed that perfectly."

The Eagles' victory leaves them joint-top of the NFC East, level on 3-3 with next Sunday's opponents the Cowboys.
