Gus Bradley: 'Allen Hurns is driven and has good instincts'

Jacksonville Jaguars coach Gus Bradley talks up the abilities of undrafted rookie receiver Allen Hurns, who has proved to be a revelation during pre-season.

Jacksonville Jaguars coach Gus Bradley has talked up the abilities of rookie receiver Allen Hurns ahead of the new NFL season.

Receivers were the position of choice during this year's Draft, but the unpicked Hurns has proved the real bargain of the summer having turned in a number of impressive performances during pre-season.

"He has good instincts and is really driven," said Bradley, according to the Florida Times-Union.

"We saw it in OTAs - some of the quarterbacks said they really like him. They felt like this guy is a diamond in the rough. Just trust us on this. He has some talent.

"I think the cool thing for him was it was against the ones. He went out there and performed at that level."

The next NFL campaign gets underway in early September.
