Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak reveals that there is a fierce competition between running backs Ben Tate and Arian Foster for playing time.

Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak has revealed that there is an intense competition between running backs Arian Foster and Ben Tate to get on the field.

Foster took exactly two thirds of the Texans' carries in their win over the San Diego Chargers on Monday night, something that seemed to irk Tate on the sidelines.

Kubiak told the Houston Chronicle: "They're competitors, and both want to be on the field."

Houston face the Tennessee Titans in week two.
