Randall Cobb: 'We just fell apart on Sunday'

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb says that losing late on to the Seattle Seahawks was "like a nightmare" unfolding in front of him.

Green Bay Packers star Randall Cobb has admitted that his team simply wilted during Sunday's dramatic defeat to the Seattle Seahawks.

Despite leading 19-7 with less than four minutes remaining, Cobb's team blew their advantage and eventually lost the game in overtime.

Although the final few minutes cost his side a place in the Super Bowl, the wide receiver is in no doubt as to which was the better team on the day.

He told the team's website: "Look at the game. Go back and watch the film. You look at those first 55 minutes and it speaks for itself.

"We just fell apart. You look up with five minutes left and you say there's no way you can lose this game, and it just seems like we did everything to lose that game in that last little bit.

"It's was a nightmare and it totally blindsided me."

With the defeat so painful for them, Cobb's teammate Josh Sitton said yesterday that he would have rather not qualified for the post-season at all.
