Champ Bailey: 'I'm continuing to improve'

Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey believes that his injured foot has improved this week.

Champ Bailey has said that he feels better this week as he continues to recover from a foot injury.

The cornerback played for the Denver Broncos last Sunday after missing four games, but was limited to 30 snaps in the 35-28 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

The 35-year-old told the team's website: "I'm better. I think it was a good test last week to see where I was. I'm obviously not where I want to be. It's just trying to be patient with it.

"Of course it is frustrating, but it is what it is. I can handle it like I handle most things, just a little bit of patience. It is a thing that has healed pretty good. I'm just not confident in it yet. That's pretty much what it boils down to."

The Broncos host the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
