Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera has praised the ability that wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin showed during Saturday's minicamp.

Rivera said that there was one grab in particular, a one-handed catch surrounded by defenders, that impressed, but added that he expected no less from the 28th pick from this year's Draft.

"I'm not sure why everybody got so excited," Rivera told NFL.com. "That was pretty impressive. He's got the kind of ability you're looking for."

Benjamin has been tipped to form a strong link with Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.
