Karly Shorr delighted with qualification

Karly Shorr has said that she is delighted to have qualified for the finals of the women's slopestyle snowboarding at the Winter Olympics.

The 19-year-old American finished fourth in her heat in Sochi on Thursday.

"Making finals at the Olympics... Woah," she wrote on her Twitter page. "Definitely a huge high point in this short life of mine. I couldn't be more stoked."

The finals will be held on Saturday.
