American skier Bode Miller has said that his experiences in Sochi so far have been "great".
The 36-year-old Team USA alpine ski racer insists that the Winter Olympics in the Russian city are proving to be enjoyable, despite the "negativity" surrounding the event.
"It's great," Sky News quotes him as saying. "It really has been awesome so far. I felt like that's how it was going to be, but after a lot of kind of negativity and a lot of speculation about what the challenges were going to be here; so far for us it's been great."
Miller is competing in his fifth Winter Olympics.
