Rudman: 'Jones's bronze has lifted Team GB'

Great Britain skeleton racer Shelley Rudman has revealed that Jenny Jones's bronze medal win has lifted Team GB in their pursuit for further medals at the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Jones secured the bronze in the snowboarding slopestyle on Sunday, and Rudman believes that this has improved the mood of the British athletes readying themselves to compete in Sochi.

Rudman told BBC Sport: "It was incredible, there's a really good vibe in the Team GB camp and I think it's really uplifted the whole team. We're really proud."

Rudman will get her skeleton campaign underway on Thursday, along with teammate Lizzy Yarnold.
