Eve Muirhead expecting tough battle

Great Britain curling skip Eve Muirhead admits that her side are in for a battle when they take on Canada in the last four at the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Great Britain curling skip Eve Muirhead has admitted that her side will be in for a tough contest when they take on Canada in the semi-finals of the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Team GB had a mixed day at the Ice Cube Centre as they beat Russia to earn their fifth win of the competition but then lost out to Denmark, setting up a clash with Jennifer Jones's side in the last four.

Muirhead told the Team GB official website: "We play Jennifer a lot on tour and it's always a close game against her. I know the whole of Britain is behind us and hopefully we can do them proud."

Team GB and Canada face off in their clash on Wednesday.
