Eve Muirhead: 'Jessica Ennis-Hill message gave me butterflies'

Great Britain women's curling captain Eve Muirhead reveals that she had "butterflies" after she received a message from Olympic gold medallist Jessica Ennis-Hill.

Great Britain women's curling captain Eve Muirhead has admitted that a message from Jessica Ennis-Hill gave her "butterflies".

Muirhead led her team to a dominating 12-3 win over the USA in their second match of the 2014 Winter Olympics, bouncing back from their defeat to Sweden in their first game.

She told reporters: "I got a text from home, as I have put all my social media off, telling me that Jess had tweeted me a message. It gave me butterflies in my stomach.

"She is one of my idols and it definitely gave me a boost for the week. Knowing we have the whole nation behind us, and to have someone who I have always looked up to supporting us, is fantastic."

Team GB are in action again later today when they take on Canada.
