Alex Ovechkin disappointed with Sochi exit

Russian Federation winger Alex Ovechkin has revealed that he is hugely disappointed after his side crashed of the Sochi Winter Olympics.

The host nation were widely tipped to win the gold medal but they fell to a 3-1 defeat against Finland in the quarter-finals.

Ovechkin told reporters: "It sucks. There is no more I can say."

Finland will now play Sweden in the semi-finals of the competition.
