Daisuke Takahashi: "My right knee is not 100%"

Japanese figure skater Daisuke Takahashi admits that his knee has not completely recovered from the training injury that he suffered in November.

Japanese figure skater Daisuke Takahashi has claimed that his knee has not completely recovered from the training injury that he suffered in November.

The problem caused the 27-year-old to pull out of the Grand Prix Final in Fukuoka in December and, although his fitness has improved significantly, he admits that he is still not in top condition.

"My right knee is not 100%," Takahashi told reporters at a press conference on Monday. "I have water in my knee. It has been tough to adjust."

Takahashi won bronze in Vancouver four years ago.
