Juan Martin del Potro cruises past Marcos Baghdatis

Juan Martin del Potro is through to the third round of the Swiss Indoors tournament in Basel after beating Marcos Baghdatis in straight sets.

The defending champion dropped just three games as he came through 6-1 6-2 this evening.

Del Potro was in excellent form as he dominated his opponent from the back of the court in his second win over the Cypriot this month.

The number one seed will face Paul-Henri Mathieu tomorrow for a place in the semi-finals.
