Result: Ryan Harrison advances in Shanghai

Young American Ryan Harrison knocked number 11 seed Viktor Troicki out of the Shanghai Open this morning.

The 19-year-old won 67 points on his way to a straight-sets 6-3 6-3 victory in China.

For Harrison it is the first time he has defeated the Serbian during his career.

He will now take on Australian qualifier Matthew Ebden in round two after he defeated Pablo Andujar 6-4 6-4.
