Kei Nishikori has come from a set down to beat Nick Kyrgios 1-6 6-4 6-4 in the second round of the Shanghai Masters in China.
Kyrgios, who is close to being issued with a 28-day ban after incurring another fine, blistered through the opening set by grabbing a double break.
Nishikori battled in a bid to stop his opponent from going a set up as he created three break points and prevented the Australian from converting three set points.
However, it was not enough as Kyrgios eventually took the set, but he struggled to have the same impact in the second.
Games went with serve until Nishikori broke to claim the second set 6-4 against Kyrgios, who was irritated by the umpire when being told to "calm down" between points.
In the third and final set, both players were strong on serve, but neither created a break point until Nishikori struck to give himself victory in China.
