Nadal breezes past Dolgopolov

Rafael Nadal has booked his place in the third round of the Shanghai Masters with a swift 6-3 6-2 victory over Ukraine's Alexandr Dolgopolov.

After the opening seven games went with serve without a single break point, Nadal struck in the eighth and then served out the set to love in the next game.

The Spanish second seed continued his momentum into the second, racing to a 4-0 lead before wrapping up the set 6-2 to complete the victory in exactly an hour.

Next up for Nadal is a match against Carlos Berlocq in the third round after the Argentinian upset 14th seed John Isner in straight sets.
