Jo-Wilfried Tsonga: 'I can do better'

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga admits that he can "play a lot better" following Saturday's defeat to Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals of the Shanghai Masters.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has insisted that he can do better following Saturday's defeat to Novak Djokovic in the Shanghai Masters semi-finals.

The French world number nine was beaten 6-2 7-5 by the defending champion, who will now face either Rafael Nadal or Juan Martin del Potro in Sunday's final.

"Today I played well in the second set," Tsonga is quoted as saying by the ATP's official website. "I know I can play a lot better so I will continue to work."

Tsonga is among a handful of players vying for the final places at next month's World Tour Finals in London.
