Caroline Wozniacki into Wuhan Open last eight

Caroline Wozniacki puts herself in the quarter-finals of the Wuhan Open with a 6-0 6-3 win over Casey Dellacqua.

Caroline Wozniacki has made it through to the quarter-finals of the Wuhan Open with a straight-sets victory over Australia's Casey Dellacqua.

The US Open finalist was in ruthless form during the opening set as three breaks of serve saw her take it 6-0 with just 24 minutes on the clock.

Dellacqua restored some credibility by going 3-0 up in the second, but Wozniacki won the next six games in a row to triumph 6-0 6-3.

The Danish world number seven will now face Timea Bacsinszky in the last eight following the Swiss qualifier's surprise win over Maria Sharapova.
