Baltacha beaten in two sets at AEGON Classic

Heather Watson knocked fellow Brit Elena Baltacha out of the AEGON Classic with a 7-6 6-3 win.

The first set saw both players evenly matched, with neither able to take hold of the match.

The battle continued until Watson finally secured the set at 7-6 through a tie-break.

The 20-year-old started the second set much better, with Baltacha unable to handle Watson's style.

The British number three eventually claimed the set 6-3 to take the match and head into the next round.
