Serena Williams wins third Charleston title

Serena Williams has won her third WTA title in Charleston with a three-set victory over Jelena Jankovic in the Family Circle Cup.

The world number one, who defeated sister Venus in the last round, lost the first set 3-6 before coming back to take the second in emphatic style 6-0.

The American then broke twice in the decider to close out the contest 6-2 in just under two hours.

Williams has now won three titles this year following triumphs in Brisbane and Miami.
