Laura Robson into second round at Eastbourne

Laura Robson has made it through to the second round of the Aegon International in Eastbourne with a straight-sets victory over Yuliya Beygelzimer.

The British number one saw off the Ukrainian world number 187 6-3 6-2 on Tuesday afternoon.

Robson will now face fifth seed Caroline Wozniacki for a place in the quarter-finals of the tournament.

Meanwhile, British number three Johanna Konta was beaten 6-4 6-3 by Taiwan's Hsieh Su-wei.
