Laura Robson's China Open campaign comes to an end after losing in straight sets to Spain's Lourdes Dominiguez Lino in the second round.

Great Britain's Laura Robson has failed to keep her China Open hopes alive after dropping out of the tournament with a second-round defeat to Spain's Lourdes Dominiguez Lino.

The 18-year-old suffered a 7-5 6-3 defeat, despite being ranked higher than her opponent heading into the clash.

The first break point came in the very last game of the first set and it was Dominiguez Lino who grabbed the opportunity and snatched the set lead.

While Robson managed to secure a break in the second set, her Spanish opponent was able to match it and break the Brit once more to win the second set and the match after an hour and 35 minutes.
