Tara Moore has continued her impressive run of form with a win over world number 67 Christina McHale in the second round of the Nottingham Open.
The British number four came through qualifying to make the main draw in the East Midlands but she dropped just four games against an opponent ranked 213 places above her in the WTA standings.

After five successive breaks of serve to open the match, Moore held serve to move ahead before comfortably closing out the set to put her one away from her first appearance in the last eight of a top-tier event.
McHale, who has reached as high as 24 in the world rankings, quickly went a break of serve down in the second and she had no reply as Moore coasted to a 6-2 6-2 triumph, a result which could potentially be enough to seal a wildcard spot at Wimbledon.
Moore will now face Zheng Saisai after the Chinese player beat British number one Johanna Konta earlier on Thursday.
