Juan Monaco advances in two

Juan Monaco has advanced into the quarter-finals of the Miami Masters after overcoming Andy Roddick 7-5 6-0.

Roddick triumphed over the Argentine last year, but never got going in a tough match for the American.

Monaco twice broke Roddick in the opening set to secure a 7-5 lead in the match, before he turned on the style in the latter stages.

Monaco triumphed 6-0 in the final set, displaying some impressive ground-strokes to advance into the next round.
