James McGee ends Joshua Milton run at Ilkley Challenger

Ireland's James McGee reaches the semi-finals of the Ilkley Challenger with a straight-sets win over British number nine Joshua Milton.

Joshua Milton has been knocked out of the Ilkley Challenger after suffering a last-eight defeat to Ireland's James McGee.

The British number nine has recently made the quarter-finals at both Manchester and Surbiton, but for the third week in succession, he couldn't make further progress.

One break of serve was enough for McGee to take the opening set before he struck a further two times in the second to run out a 6-3 6-3 winner.

McGee, who will move into the world's top 150 next week for the first time in his career, will play American Denis Kudla in the semi-finals.
