Feliciano Lopez knocked out of Barcelona Open by Pablo Andujar

Fifth seed Feliciano Lopez is booted out of the Barcelona Open in straight sets by Pablo Andujar in the third round.

Feliciano Lopez's Barcelona Open campaign has come to an end after suffering a 6-3 6-4 defeat to Pablo Andujar in the third round of the tournament.

The fifth seed managed to go a break up early in the first set, but his fellow Spaniard struck back to grab a double break in the sixth and eighth games.

After taking a one-set lead, Andujar took control of the clay court and went a break up instantly in the second set.

The 29-year-old followed that up with another break, but he lost his serve immediately afterwards to give Lopez a glimmer of hope.

Lopez went on to squander two break points and Andujar was able to see the set through to book himself a place in the quarter-finals.
