Sabine Lisicki battles into Hong Kong final

Sabine Lisicki is through to the Hong Kong Open final after battling past Italian Francesca Schiavone 6-3 3-6 6-2.

The German faced 10 break points in the two-hour match, managing to avert seven of them against the former French Open winner.

Top-seeded Lisicki, who received a wildcard to play in the tournament, will face third seed Karolina Pliskova in the final.

Czech Pliskova overcame Belgium's Alison van Uytvanck 6-1 4-6 6-4 in her semi-final match.
