Dennis Istomin thrashes Pablo Andujar in Sydney

Dennis Istomin has comfortably disposed of Pablo Andujar at the Sydney International.

The 27-year-old Russian took less than an hour to book his place in the second round, where he will take on Germany's Jan-Lennard Struff or Marin Cilic.

Istomin took two of the three break points created on the Spaniard's serve to clinch the first set 6-1.

He then broke twice more on his way to a 6-2 triumph in the second set.
