Peter Gojowczyk stuns Philipp Kohlschreiber

Peter Gojowczyk has caused a major upset at the Qatar Open by knocking Philipp Kohlschreiber out of the tournament.

The world number 162 got the better of the sixth seed in straight sets 7-6(4) 7-6(7) in the second round.

Both sets went to tie-breakers and on both occasions it was Gojowczyk who emerged the victor, eventually winning the contest in one hour and 42 minutes.

Gojowczyk is participating in the tournament as a qualifier.
