Roger Federer wins Rotterdam title

Roger Federer has continued his recent positive form indoors by claiming the Rotterdam Open title this afternoon.

The former world number one defeated Juan Martin Del Potro in straight sets in the Dutch city.

Argentine Del Potro struggled to produce any form in the opening set, eventually slumping to a 6-1 loss.

Del Potro made it more of a contest in the next set but was unable to prevent Federer claiming the set and the title 6-1 6-4.

It is the second time that Federer has won the tournament in his career.
