Kyle Edmund has defeated Martin Klizan in straight sets at the Qatar Open to record one of the biggest wins of his career.
The 20-year-old required just 70 minutes to see off the world number 43 by a 6-2 6-3 scoreline to register just his third success on the ATP Tour.
The British number three has established himself on the Challenger Tour but he has struggled to make his mark at the top tier, despite impressing in the Davis Cup final in November.
His triumph over Klizan - who was ranked at 24 in the world rankings in April - could signal the start of a breakthrough year, and seven aces and four breaks of serves suggests that he has the ability to become a permanent fixture inside the world's top 100.
Edmund will face Spaniard Daniel Munoz De La Nava in the last 16.
