Cilic comeback sees off Struff

Marin Cilic has come from a set down to beat Jan-Lennard Struff in round one of the Sydney International.

Seventh seed Cilic hit eight aces and converted three out of five break points en route to securing a 3-6 6-3 6-3 victory.

In a tight match, German Struff won 77 points - nine fewer than Cilic, who will face Russia's Denis Istomin in round two.

Cilic and Istomin have met on four previous occasions, including in Brisbane last month. The Croatian number one has won all four matches to date, dropping just one set.
